MY FAVORITE MODEL

It's been too long since I have posted any photos of my favorite model on the blog. She is the reason that I first found a love for photography to begin with so its only appropriate that she makes an appearance on here from time to time. She is getting old enough now that she actually likes having her picture taken, she takes direction, and naturally just loves to strike a pose which makes it a fun date for the both of us.

BIG SISTER, LITTLE SISTER

Getting to photograph these precious little girls was such a joy and so much fun. Grandmas backyard provided the perfect backdrop. Big sister E, who is two, was so sweet and fun. 4 week old H did great once she got a little sun making her sleepy. She was the youngest baby I have done so far and I loved it! So tiny and such petite little features.

CLASS OF 2011

While in Omaha I also had a senior shoot. I love doing seniors, they are adventurous and whiling to try anything my crazy brain thinks may be cool. We did our session in two nights starting at a lake near Fremont. The weather was once again HOT. "K" was a great model, needing very little direction from me which I love. Then night two we headed to the Old Market in Omaha and ventured into a few stinky alleys but it was so worth it for some of the great grungy shots. The old Market was fun as I didn't really have a plan for where I wanted to shoot. We just got out of the car started walking and found a place to stop about ever 10 feet with a unique backdrop. Thanks again "K" and family. I had fun spending time with you and hope you enjoy the photos. Have a great senior year, it will go fast!
